This process is bound to change and will be different of course later on when Google+ gets out of its &#8220;beta&#8221; testing stage, so just keep that in mind.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, it&#8217;s not difficult to get some friends, and here&#8217;s how you do it without constantly spamming all your other mates with useless posts, and it&#8217;ll only take about 60 seconds.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Start by clicking on the Circles button:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_01.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-756\" title=\"GooglePlus_01\" src=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_01.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"424\" height=\"77\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_01.png 424w, http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_01-300x54.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 424px) 100vw, 424px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After that, create a new empty Circle by holding your mouse over this:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_02.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-757\" title=\"GooglePlus_02\" src=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_02.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"175\" height=\"130\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;ll change to this:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_03.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-758\" title=\"GooglePlus_03\" src=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_03.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"234\" height=\"209\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Create a new Circle, I&#8217;ve been doing them by the date and adding a number afterwards:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_04.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-759\" title=\"GooglePlus_04\" src=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_04.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"721\" height=\"322\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_04.png 721w, http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_04-300x133.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 721px) 100vw, 721px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now the Circle is made, you&#8217;re going to add your new friend you want to invite to it by clicking &#8220;Add a new person&#8221; then entering their email address:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_05.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-760\" title=\"GooglePlus_05\" src=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_05.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"335\" height=\"115\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_05.png 335w, http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_05-300x102.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 335px) 100vw, 335px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hit Enter then type in their First \/ Last name, and choose to add them to the Circle you just created:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_06.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-761\" title=\"GooglePlus_06\" src=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_06.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"331\" height=\"126\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_06.png 331w, http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_06-300x114.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 331px) 100vw, 331px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> You can only have 25 non-Google+ users that you&#8217;re going to be email-inviting in a single Circle, so just keep that in mind.<\/p>\n<p>Now, click on the Google+ logo to go back to your main Stream, and we&#8217;re going to make a new post:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_07.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-762\" title=\"GooglePlus_07\" src=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_07.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"552\" height=\"209\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_07.png 552w, http:\/\/www.c2s.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/GooglePlus_07-300x113.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 552px) 100vw, 552px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Click on &#8220;Add circles &#8230;&#8221; and add your newly created Circle. Hover your mouse over the blue circle name, and it&#8217;ll pop up.
